What is it?
Azodyl® is a breakthrough beneficial bacterial product that we have licensed to Vétoquinol, who distribute and market the product as well. Administered for the reduction of Azotemia in dogs and cats with renal failure. It slows down uremic toxin buildup and helps prevent further kidney damage.
Through enteric toxin reduction technology, Azodyl® removes harmful uremic toxins that have accumulated in the blood and that have diffused into the bowel.
Azodyl® contains a patented formulation of naturally-occurring “friendly” bacteria that are released in the large intestine, where they “eat up” uremic toxins and carry them out with them as they pass out of the body.
